If you don't have an overhead shot to fade into, you can often find one at google maps in earth mode, for the address of the property you are zooming into. In the video example at the top of the screen, I dissolved the end of the zoom into an overhead photo of the property which we had captured with a quadcopter. In your video editing program can control the speed of the zoom, the start and stop points, and even add addition zooms if you like. mp4 file format and import it into your video editing program.

Like I said, I'm sure you've seen this effect before. It's a dramatic and an effective way to grab and retain the viewer's attention. It continues to fall going faster and faster, until it stops right above a house or some other place the video producers wanted you to see. The camera continues to move toward earth picking up speed as it seemingly falls toward the planet. Then the camera moves forward, closer to earth. The scene starts out in space, showing the planet earth with stars twinkling in the background. You've probably seen the effect on the news or in a TV commercial.
